“Guardians of the Galaxy 2” will be the 15th film installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The MCU has done a good job of creating comfortable big-screen homes for some of the more obscure and dusty Marvel characters. “Guardians 2” will most likely not be an exception to this trend.
Rumors are swirling about none other than Howard the Duck making an appearance in the James Gunn-directed sequel. Howard if you recall is a non-superhero Marvel character who had his own-horrible film back in 1986. Fans are guessing Howard’s participation will be more of a cameo, and that the duck’s appearance in the end-credits of “Guardians 1” was not altogether an accident.
In addition to the above fowl-foreshadowing, On Location Vacations is reporting that Sylvester Stallone has been spotted on location in Atlanta filming for the Guardians sequel. According to the site, Stallone’s wardrobe looked quite a bit like his old Judge Dredd duds.
A much-anticipated sequel just got a little more interesting. “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is expected to debut in May of 2017.
