Actor Jon Gries (“Napoleon Dynamite”, “Taken”, “The Pretender”) makes his feature-film directorial-debut with the much anticipated comedy “Pickin’ & Grinnin'”.

“Pickin’ & Grinnin'” features two down and out brothers (the Johnsons), who come from a long legacy of losers.  They decide to give their dreams of musical stardom one last chance, setting out in their 1976 Winnebago for the bright lights of Nashville. This scenic and hilarious “musical-road-trip of redemption” reminds the Johnson boys why they started playing music in the first place, and just what it means to be a brother.

Hot off of a victorious film festival bender, “Pickin’ & Grinnin'” is now enjoying its much-deserved theatrical release.  To learn more about this year’s indie-comedy darling, visit/like the Johnson Brothers at the film’s Facebook page, or check out the project’s official website.  Catch the trailer for the film below…
