A number of spy-movie spoofs have surfaced over the years in Hollywood, and apparently tinsel-town thinks there is room for more.

Paramount has shown its excitement over the genre by picking up a pitch from Sacha Cohen to produce an untitled comedy about a James Bond-esque character who is forced to go on the lamb with his “long-lost brother, a moronic soccer hooligan”.  Sacha has not written off the idea of stepping in front of the camera on the project, depending on his availability when production time rolls around.

Cohen would co-produce the project with Phil Johnston, who recently wrote the Ed Helms comedy “Cedar Rapids”.  Cohen currently has a first-look deal with Paramount, with whom he also released “The Dictator” earlier this year.
