Sundance 2014… a sunny and crowded Park City Utah. Film-fans and production-pros proudly donning event lanyards like they were Mardi Gras beads. A charming snow-covered ski-town where corporate-sponsorship and independent-artistry collide every January.
See Klip Collective’s 3D mapping projection on the facade of the famed Egyptian Theatre (above). The fest was founded in 1978 to attract more bellbottom-clad filmmakers to Utah. In the last 30+ years it has evolved into the premier American film festival, attracting 45,000+ attendees this season.
My cohorts and I had a wonderful time bouncing from reception to film to reception. If there had been hot water in my condo, it would have been one of my favorite trips out.
