Sundance 2014… a sunny and crowded Park City Utah.  Film-fans and production-pros proudly donning event lanyards like they were Mardi Gras beads.  A charming snow-covered ski-town where corporate-sponsorship and independent-artistry collide every January.

See Klip Collective’s 3D mapping projection on the facade of the famed Egyptian Theatre (above).  The fest was founded in 1978 to attract more bellbottom-clad filmmakers to Utah. In the last 30+ years it has evolved into the premier American film festival, attracting 45,000+ attendees this season.

My cohorts and I had a wonderful time bouncing from reception to film to reception.  If there had been hot water in my condo, it would have been one of my favorite trips out.

The sponsored networking event, Monday on Main Street, was a great success.  Thanks again to Heineken and Ketel One for their sponsorship.

Some good and great films were screened this year, we saw a few.  To find out more about this year’s offerings, and festival awards, visit the Sundance Film Festival’s official website.  See you all in Park City in 11.75 months.
